A few words about Oxygen Spa Studio.
One of the most effective one-hour massages I’ve had in years.
This elegant nook is located on a Chicago neighborhood street. Customers are offered $5-parking, yet I opted to take the Blue Line ‘L’. Oxygen is a short jaunt from the UIC-Halsted stop. I entered the Spa to experience soft colors, with splashes of flora, and the soft sound of a wall fountain. The host greeted me, took my winter wraps away and offered tea while I awaited the massage therapist. My muscles tend to be as tight as a ball of yarn when I walk into a spa, as was the case this time. And I gotta say, I’ve had one of the most effective one-hour massages I’ve had in years. I chose the “deep tissue” massage, as I had deep muscle tension. The therapist gave a massage that gave immediate relief, and even better that had lasting effects. That for someone he’d worked with for the first time. Oh, what spectacular relief I’ll have when I’m on a regimen! With confidence I recommend that you try one of the Oxygen Spa services for yourself.
WOW this place is a gem!
I had the BEST massage ever. My therapist was Reggie. He was so good and knows what he’s doing. Any pains I had were all gone. I felt amazing afterwards.
Totally recommended. I will definitely go back. 🙂
The most releasing massage I have ever had.
I arrived for my appointment and rang the bell to get buzzed into the lobby. It felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders when I walked through the door. It’s a very small studio spa with an incredibly zen vibe.
My massage therapist was Maria, she is amazing. She asked about any ailments or sensitive areas to avoid or focus on and how deep I wanted to go before we got started. During the massage she verbally checked in with me to make sure the pressure was right and I was doing okay.
It was the most releasing massage I have ever had.
